The following instruction and information have been prepared to clearly outline the requirement for smooth transport and customs clearance for your exhibits shipped to the trade show in Cairo.

We appreciate your careful attention.

SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS

• ARRIVAL DEADLINE

(1/1) Airfreight shipment at CAIRO Airport : " 10  working a day "
(2/1) Sea freight shipment at Sea port            : "15   working a day "

• DOCUMENTATION

(1/2) AWB                                                                       1 Copy
(2/2) B/ L                                                                         3 Original
(2/2)Invoice                                                                  1 folds original
(3/2)Packing list                                                           1 folds original
(4/2)Certificate of Origin                                             1 original

On AWB must mention : cargo in transit to fairground Nasr City-Cairo- Egypt.
All cargo must have a value even for customs purposes only.
You must send us a list of cargo goods & copy from invoice before the fair to check with the customs according to rolls

• Entrance of cargo

(1/3)All cargo must be temporary entrance
(2/3)So to handle the cargo , the customs must be issued the following:

• Bank guarantee from any Egyptian bank by the amount require from customs.
• Or letter guarantee from your embassy in Egypt signed/stamped and legalized from foreign affairs
• You can transfer the bank guarantee amount accepted from customs ( refund after the fair ).
• Invoice /packing list of temporary &permanent must be separate .

• SHIPPING DOCUMENTS

All Shipping documents must follow the following instructions:

• Treatment / fumigation standard :

Wooden packing material must be treated by Heat Treatment (HT)or Methyl Bromide (MB) fumigation at the export countries , cities , or districts and marked with “IPPC” ( sample shown as below ) on two opposite side :
The mark should contain in the valid symbol approved by IPPC, country code
Unique nuber of producer/treatment designed by the national plant protection
Organization (NPPO)in exporting countries and treatment methods (HT,orMB)
